Title: why is my alcohol tolerance rising?
Post by: weirtech on April 19, 2010, 09:48:23 PM
ok, so i mix about 3 shots of crown royal, a bit of ice and a can of pepsi and that used to give me a little buzz, but now when i do that i don't get fuck all.  i might as well be drinking plain pepsi.  i haven't changed any other factors like food or putting on weight or shit like that and i only have a drink like that maybe once a week.  wtf?  drinking is going to become expensive.

I find the older I get, the less I buzz, and the more I stumble. I have to get pretty drunk to get a good head buzz, but two drinks fuck my feet up. :-\

see why I cut back to near zero drinking.

It would take 15 beers to get a good buzz. Last night I had a 40 and got really buzzed.

What ive noticed is if you take a good month of drinking, you can become a cheap drunk again. BTW aaron, when are you on BC2? Ive only played once when you were on

Happens when you drink a lot regularly. I usually have about 4 ounces of rum or whiskey per drink, takes a few to get goin. This all depends on how fast you drink them and your body weight though.

+1 hear except an "oil can" of Foster's Premium Lager does that to me. ;D

I love high life

If i want a beer for the taste i will have a widmere hef or blue moon or something.

If im playing beer pong or just drinking heavily i will drink coors or bud light. If im in the hills its only fitting to drink PBR .
I think it all depends on the mood and what im trying to achieve.
