Title: My CRX seat fixed
Post by: crttaz on May 05, 2010, 11:56:30 PM
LAst Monday the bolt for the seat rail pulled the blind nut through the thin seat pan.

I slightly enlarged the existing hole that was there, then fished the hose clamps through.

You might be a RHMT redneck if you use 25-30 year old hose clamps to fix your 20-21 year old seat. I is a redneck!

Why are you pointing at the clamps with your toes?

Holding the seat cover back, it covers the clamps and you can't see it when in the car.

It is stronger that the OEM setup.

Also the clamps are older than the car!!!!! They are from my old Mustang II.

I was cruising ebay and found an auction for some claps like that labeled "600 hp JDM racing clamps" for like $10 a peice. You probably should have used those.
