Gonna get some hankooks for the front cuz they are cheap and have great tread wear for a W rated all season tire. But I need to some opinions on the rear.
I need something that I could drive on the street and wouldn't be terrible in the rain but give me some much needed traction.
I'm thinking:
305/40/18 Nitto 555R
Or
305/45/18 Nitto NT05
The NT has a longer tread life and appears to be more streetable but how does it compare to the traction characteristics of the R?

More streetable?

ive actually ran both of those tires, the 555r lasts longer if you arent always 'warming up the tires' . put the nt01, er sorry reading fails me, i had nt01's

I have a set of 295 Toyo RA1's , 1 yr old , $100 + Ship , still showing tread, far stickier then Hankooks

Hankooks are going on the front, doesn't matter if they are sticky. Also, Nittos are the only performance option for my truck. Not many companies make tires that fit the stock rims.
