The split happened at Woodburn on DECELLERATION. So the wall must have cracked under load, then sucked in water after the run and split.....
Tranny also may be going out.
The 5th injector was OFF because it was ****ING UP. So I may have leaned out up top and detonated. But E85 det is not noticable as far as I can tell compared to gas det.
But I did win Street Modified for $100! Of course I was the only car in my class. The 5-6 subarus that did run were in street stock and were running in the low to mid 13's.... My best was 12.8 @ 114 and 12.9 @ 116.16
Getting short block I built back tommorrow. Should be running for this coming weekend.
As to WHY it split? Cause Subaru engines SUCK the ASS TITTY on #4 cylinder wall.

Not again! That thing is more often into pieces than together lol

No, they are aluminium as all the others. They are iron sleeved, as all the others.
I AM keeping one, but I need to have the cash to buy the pistons for it.... and I am saving that for the original reddevil wagon.
Hey, I may bust the shit out of my stuff, but I race it while others don't. I was the only fucker there with a fast subaru.
