Those of you that know me know this is definitely not the way I prefer to fix shit but its definitely RHMT worthy and should make Buk proud.
Fucking broken CDM header

Ripped it back down to decent metal

Started filling with the NIG/MIG (no gas)

solid. i love filling huge holes with just filler rod and a tig. its a challenge.

oh i know its mig. im just saying i do it with tig. i just welded the internal gate hole on my CDM turbo shut the other day when i did the custon v band conversion

Actually, filling holes with a TIG isn't too hard at all, restoring a razor edge with minimal blade area loss was the tough part.
But then again, I used to spend 6+ hrs a day on one repairing propellers.

Proof a nigmig isn't just for birdshiting. Good job, but I'd have just welded a thick plate in. One you could make into a real WG flange.

the car is N/A for the moment, The header is more for RWD corollas. on a MR2, the exhaust would hit the shift cables I took the header out to mock up my turbo flange on the log manifold. I still need a reservoir, down pipe, water pump, and lines for the L2A IC setup before I can put the garrett VGT on there.
I'm pretty sure I have everything else I need for it right now.
So far:
STI side feed injectors (0D20 520cc)
Garrett VGT turbo from a 6.0 powerstroke
CDM L2A IC
CDM Billet Oil filter relocation kit
CDM Turbo oil line kit (will be upgrading hoses soon to quality shit)
Weir fully welded LOG
Large radiator for intercooler
38mm wastegate
50mm BOV
3" charge piping kit
Car is an 86 MR2 with a Silvertop 20v 4AGE running a Haltech E8 for engine management
