Title: a couple vids of the local RWD 2jz probe from this weekend
Post by: darkelvis on May 24, 2010, 08:16:00 PM: I've posted pics/vids of this car in the past so for those who remember/give a shit here's this year's update

Matt finally got probezilla out for the year this past weekend, changed a few things over the winter and was getting it all dialed in and ready to go for the season.

First pass he had his nitrous spool up point a little too high and surprised himself and his wife (I assume that is who is filming) at the launch.

Post by: darkelvis on May 24, 2010, 11:36:31 PM: only registered 944 last year because he started spinning his tires on the dyno, I'm sure he had more to it but it didn't register....and that was last year's setup, this year he's running a different torque converter, and I'm not sure what else he changed.

I'm sure the powerglide takes alot of power. the nitrous is to spool the turbo. iirc it's a gt45 or gt47.

It needs nitrous to lock up the torque converter, so thaqt it doesn't run 12's like every other 2JZ on the planet.
