What is there to do in the area?  I'm here for a few weeks of training before heading to Kuwait and I'm bored as hell.

True story.  I've been thinking about renting a car for a day or two and going down to LA or Santa Barbara just to check it out.

Oxnard is shit, ventura is shit. Niggers and spics. Fucking your side of the country carls jr. didn't even have the fucking mushroom swiss burger (in 2003). I was stuck on base for the first 2 months, CRAVING that fucking burger. I get off base, walk the 5 fucking miles to carls jr, just to eat a fucking cheese burger. Fuck that places
