Title: Rear Disc Conversion Qs

Bud is parting out his car so im heading down ther road in a minute. Pulling rear disc off his 94 Gsr to put on my 98 civic. 2 Qs, Do i need to pull the Ebrake cable brackes off my civic or will the tegs bolt up? Also theres so much shit out there bout the prop valve and it all contradicts itself. True the 96-00 Dx share the same part number as the 99-00 Si one? I know the Ex will work but should I really switch to the Dx?
