I'm weirded out by canned meat, but I can imagine it could be alright in the case of chicken seeing as how it doesn't change flavor or consistency when frozen.

Canned chicken is canned chicken. I've used generic shit and it's just the same. In some ways it's better than freshly cooked chicken in dishes, it doesn't get dried out, easy to mix into salads. Canned ham is good for that too... making ham salad. mmm mmm bitch
