Title: ebay cdm gauges
Post by: turbostd on June 19, 2010, 02:49:27 PM
anyone have experience with the cdm gauges that are on ebay? I need to get 2 sets of electrical gauges (one for my vx and one for my camaro) And found these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MK1-3-GAUGE-KIT-BOOST-AIR-FUEL-OIL-PRESSURE-WATER-TEMP-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem588632570dQQitemZ380208568077QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MK1-3-GAUGE-KIT-BOOST-AIR-FUEL-OIL-PRESSURE-WATER-TEMP-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem588632570dQQitemZ380208568077QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories)

Are they any good? Any other places to get cheep electric gauges? I want electric for the easier install and for the lack of hot oil in the cabin. I had the plastic line fall off on my camaro and hot oil in your lap at 70mph is no fun  :?:

I use the fuel pressure gauge from those guy in th egay link. It works fine.

As for the nylon line used for oil pressure, I'd switch to the 0.125" copper line it will work better. ;D

Water temp gauge that goes to 320 F??????

Beyond 240-250 is a waste of dial space, motor is already toast by then.

If you look, all of their temp guages have the same readings, other than saying "water" or "oil" or "trans"
