so my car was towed when i was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
i had my brother drive it home for me that same day because i couldn't get out of work.
now today i finally get to drive it after about 2 weeks, and first i notice they somehow cracked my fiberglass fender, the radio doesnt work, and i get no boost at all. nothing. no sound from the bov as though it was building boost anything. i checked my pipes and shit at work before my drive home, but everything seemed fine.
and with the radio, its on and shows the station or track, but no sound.
so what can i do? call the police? or is the towing company responsible for this shit?

tow companies could give a shit less about cars that are anything but stock.
when i had a car towed by this crooked place in town at first they denied having towed it, then even having it at all. (stripped civic shell that doesn't run, hard to miss) then the fuckers took 45 min after the meet time to get to there lot. then another 45 min of standing around waiting for the boss man sense i refused to sign shit without a receipt.
when he finally came he sat in his car and ate for 10 min. When asked for the receipt he held it to the window of his truck (fuck tard) then proceeded to slip it through the window. fuck!!!!
all this and still had to pay a $350 fee, (towed Friday night and picked up Monday morning) fucking crooks.

You just gotta know how to deal with people. After my accident I talked the tow guy into giving me a free tow. Actually I bitched him into it and made his job so unpleasant he had no choice.
Tow companies are bigger scammers than Bernie Madoff.

Sounds like you work for a respectable business.
I've had tow companies steal things out of cars, and one of the guys who hangs around at the shop is the son of a man who owns a dishonest tow company - if it looks like it hasn't run in a while he'll steal it and have it crushed for scrap value, on top of other more grey area scams.
Best thing I ever did was develop a relationship with a couple decent tow drivers.

I had my car fucked up by a towing company before I just manned up and fixed it.

I was just thinking about my luck with tows. I've only been arrested once, otherwise it's always me riding shotgun. The time I was arrested, it was my buddy's stepdad's business that picked it up with a flatbed. No damage/theft.
One thing about being arrested is that they usually search your car and take an inventory, or should. Get that and if there is one drywall screw or stale cornflake on the list but not there now, start shit. Also use a credit card to pay. You stand a MUCH higher chance to get money back. Consumer protection laws > civil court.

i did have an inventory list, but i had so much shit in my car the cop just put down the semi-expensive shit. 2 stereos and a saw. nothing was stolen that i could tell.
after taking off my bumper, my intercooler fell out....
i assume the jackass pulled on it or something to find a place to hook up because he had to come back to the car (the cop waited there untill it was up) to ask where to pull from because it was "so low" in the front. i told him nowhere, and to watch it when opening the driver side door, because sometimes the fender would catch. i fixed it this spring and its been good up untill i got out of the car to be cuffed.
anyway, i told him if it catches you have to pull on it (heres a hole for a side marker). he said ok. ive opened the door fully when it caught before, and it just flexed at the back towards the door, and would go back. now theres a crack/break from the wheel well to the door.
well i got the IC back on, and pulled the stereo to find my wiring was the two speakers i had in there disconnected, but power and ground were ok, and the screws for the piece underneath were out on the pass side floor... so after recoinnecting it works, and i have boost again.
im just gonna say fuck it and fix the fender myself

go to a lawyer that has a free hour of consultation, ask him to write a letter stating that your pissed and demand satisfaction. most likely the owner will cut you a check to not have to deal with you in front of a judge. seen my ex boss do it a few times
