Title: hesitation issue
Post by: davidawg on July 01, 2010, 08:12:01 PM
i have this bogging/hesitation issue that i can not figure out.  it does it from 0-7psi and 25%-90% throttle.  it shows low to mid nines on the afr gauge when it does this too.

did a boost leak test, nothing. ive tried leaning it out, nothing.  swapping to an old tune that i know works, nothing.  new thottle position sensor, nothing.  swapped o2 sensor, nothing.  swapped coil over plugs, nothing.  my spark plug gap is at 26-28.

you can hear the problem in this video from 0:35- 0:40
turbo zx2 vs modified evo 9 mr 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EP7iLuCH1eY#normal)

im out of ideas...

a lil something to help ya think, lol

It's probably having problems lighting off low to mid 9 AFR's.

Lean it out in that area.

im using delta force's special forces tuning.  we zx2 people only have sct and delta force to choose from as a simple tuning solution.  i chose delta forces cause it allows you to tune two vehicles for the price of one and i own two zx2's.

I'm not familiar with their product, I've been porting them into Binary Editor and then flashing unlimited vehicles through a Drew Tech Mongoose SCI cable

Does it allow you to deal in binaries?  Or is the tunefile unencrypted so you can yank the .bin out of it like SCT's .mtf files?  Also, got datalogs?  One general log and 1-2 really short ones that replicate the problem should do.
