Title: ukrainian car part mystery
Post by: BoostedSchemes on July 22, 2010, 03:48:46 PM
so some drunk vague friend of a relative of mine name shurik called from (russia, ukraine, ussr, slovakia, uzbekistan) to tell me he needed some car part that costs way too much in his shitty country and he prefers a good working used one from uslandia.

he was slurring his speech horribly and speaks some kind of soviet equivalent of cajun and i could barely understand what the fuck he wanted... here is what i was able to puzzle out

its related to the "accumulator" (alternator, so i assume its an ignition piece) ... he called it a "monoblock" which could be a distribution block of sorts... its for a 4cylinder motor, the car is a 2000 and it is a GM part.

So, 2000 general motors 4 banger?

He MAY have said the car is an OPEL, I heard "Dell" and "not in america" so I think OPEL. He also said he has "one and six" ... 1.6l OPEL from 2000?

And the part he is looking for goes under something and then has 4 wires going to each cylinder... I'm think HEI module?
thoughts nigs?

Maybe an A/C part, as there are expansion valves that we call monoblocks, and they are related to the accumulator.

he doesnt have email nigga he's po

accumulator in russian = alternator... i am convinced he is talking about an ignition part especially if there are 4 wires running 1 to each of the cylinders... are 2000 gm engines COP? i believe i heard him mumbling about this being connected to a coil somehow

they arent coil on plug, but most GM's have a coil pack and under them is a coil driver/module thingy. maybe thats what he needs?

If it exists in America, I would not be surprised if it has the same OEM part number.

Titty bar skanks are real whores. I'm not interested in those. I had this girl Juliya, from Poland, a lot of her friends here were from the Ukraine or Russia. Seems eastern bloc girls like dressing super sexy, but at least the ones I know weren't skanks. Plus they all liked cooking, and just wanted to be girls, and not like men.

Basically they are super hot homemakers.

Eh, all the Miss Crimi's I've met are complete sluts only exceeded in their whoredom by their golddigging tendencies.  Maybe it was just the first impression I got based off of my cultural indoctrination, and not the reality of the matter, but I'm a little wary.

Yeah I have no doubt there are a lot of eastern bloc whores here and there. I can see these girls perhaps becoming a little extra whoreish coming to North America, because their positions in life have changed. In the Soviet countries there is a physical surplus of women, this coupled with mens natural tendency to womanize there is an even larger surplus of women that just really want to be married/in a serious solid relationship.
Naturally women try to attract men with their natural born attributes, when the competition is fierce, they have to step up their tactics.
Naturally, some of these women are going to be hot.

In North America a hot girl on the hunt for a man is a whore.

Disagree.  I understand where you are coming from and agree with that, but by my yardstick I disagree.  I always liked aggressive women, the last thing I need is some wilting flower that gets crushed by my ego.  Most recent ex is/was a martial arts instructor, it was funny watching guys hit on her then lose interest when they realized she could beat them up.

Which is why I want to talk about how female slavic imports strike me the wrong way.  I am an imperfect student of human behavior, am often completely wrong, but a lot of times I see things truly that others can't.  Win or lose the argument, I learn something.

Our yardsticks are similar than, except mine is a meter stick, and thus larger :P

The only decent relationships I have had have been with confident and aggressive women. However there is a fine line between aggressive, and, I don't know how to say it other than "too much".

So what is about Slavic women that touch you off in the wrong way?
Do you have a hard time accepting that a woman of above average beauty could also have above average intelligence?

Sounds like it's a "monoblock" coil pack - 4 coils in 1 part (or twins for wasted spark). Makes some sense, since a condensor in slurred electrical speak is a capacitor of sorts. A coil could be seen in the same light. Then if it goes 1 wire per cyl, well that makes perfect sense.

The only problem is finding the right part. Regarding specific parts outside of Hondas, I'm sorta like buk welding. Useless.
