Title: Turbo edit RTP issues
Post by: speedjunky01 on July 26, 2010, 07:19:42 AM
So this kid has a DA integra running a t3 in it and the tune is trash. I offer to work the tweaks out of it and I grab my ostrich1 and try to connect to ecu but it just won't

-all 28 pins are in red facing the ecu wires on the front of ecu
-ng60 in turbo edit, baud is 125000 in TE and device manager
-it is the right com port

Unsure of what else to check been googli g and reading pgmfi but not much luck. Anyone care to help a te noob out?

I'm slow this morning... You need to set it at 920k not 125k.

That's will work for v1.0, unless you updated it's firmware to make it as fash as a v2.0

Also, you fail?  Try to upload with Tunerpro if TE fails you.

-tried all baud rates no go :P
-tried restarting TE after any change, still to go
-got ng63 no change :P

really not sure where else to go, if should still connect to the ostrich even though its not plugged into the car shouldnt it?

hook it back into ectune and reset vendor in ostrich info.  If you did not do this, that is your problem...or atleast part of it.  With the ostrich paired to eCtune, you will not be able to use it with any other software until you unpair it.  Once you are done with TE, simply go back into ostrich info and lock the ostrich back to ectune in order to use ectune again.
