Hi I cut open a tank to baffle it then welded the top back on, the welds seem fine and hold water. I would like to put some sealant over the welds just incase. Has anyone heard of 3M 5200 for this or is there any sealer I can buy at auto parts store or home depot? I'm just not sure what to look for.

There are many different kinds of gas tank sealers out there. Pick one and use it.
Where are the pics of the interesting part?

Good welds and paint.

Depending on the vehicle, it's either terne (80% LEAD, 20% tin), or a 50/50 zinc & tin coating.
So this n00b may need some help doing a proper n00b intro, as there may be lead poisoning causing some stupidity.
