Im trying to patch up a wire harness that has had a resistor box installed and dsm 450s. Some the of right sides are hot some of the left side are hot. Dose polarity matter on injectors? If so how do I tell by looking at the injectors. All the wires have been replaced they are all black now (thanks previous owner :)).

Polarity shouldn't matter at all. If your super worried about it, try hooking one up to 12 volt both ways and see if it clicks.

it's a solenoid. polarity is irrelevant.

corrrect in 99.9 percent of applications. i have seen people scope the injectors and notice very, very, very small changes when running one way.
nothing that would matter in a car, maybe in the space shuttle.

Thats I kind of what I was thinking it still runs ok. I may just make all the lefts hot and call it a day then.
