S&W 622 (22lr) bought used for 169.99:

Don't hate on the rimfires, I'm out to put holes in paper only. Had a blast at the range with the 622 yesterday, but havent shot the rifle yet since I'm having trouble finding mounting rings to fit my scope/rifle combo.

ive always had a fondness for 22's. Its what everyone should learn to shoot on. I'll have a built volquartsen 10/22 some day, those things are fuckin tack drivers. When the zombies attack a .22 with a 50-100rd magazine that shoots less than 1 MOA would be a great weapon to pick off the undead.

I just shot my Marlin 981TS today for the first time. Its shoots great. I'd love to pick up a 22 pistol for targets. Nice kill Jay.

I wonder what a 54r would do to a zombie head

Last time I posted a picture of a dead buk, it got deleted, but if you get on AIM I'll show you.

Update:
Still havent shot the rifle, but I've been giving the pistol (any my other, a Sig Mosquito) a decent workout at the range.
Was waiting for these scope rings to come in, stupid scope is so big regular "high" rings dont let it clear the barrel:

I've always wanted to try the .17rimfire, I assume they are more accurate than .22 caliber?

accuracy is relative.

i got one of the 17 hmr heavy barrel savages, it is indeed a tack driver. also splodes birds pretty good.
-
.17 is a .22 with better ballistics. Accuracy is not relative....

Who knows...but its pointy and flies real fast. Its a 22 cartridge necked down at the end for a tiny bullet. Once i take it to the range I'll post up the results if its not to embarassing lol.

Idiot chink is butthurt I took him off facebook. Just stating a fact, the .17 has much better accuracy at most ranges due to the increased velocity. Kind of how a 30-378 isn't as fast/accurate as a 12 Egg Magnum. Or is reloading data over your chinky head?
