yeah that thing held together for a whole year of abuse. I'm actually surprised it did aswell as it did. Overrevving it by like 1000-1500rpm all the time 15 psi.
But I was bored of that after a month. I have been contemplating going to a stock ITR cam or regrind my pro1's to something a little less aggressive and AT LEAST stock cam gears for this next one. I'll prob lose the power level I was shooting for but I figure it will at least hold together this time.

Its not rocket science to make 7-800 on a B... And surely you cant expect it to last forever, but you my lil buddy have really bad luck.
Basic 84mm with eagles and any 9:1 with a valvetrain should ... SHOULD reliably make the power your after....

That eg is moving pretty good though. Levi, your ls setup was sick. It was baller parts on a junkyard motor. You should do another budget build like that. One that runs for more than a weekend/month.

I had contemplated putting together another junkyard build for another car with a tiny turbo for the local autoX circuit.
I will see if I hit the lottery this November like I was told. Either way I'll be putting my car together this winter.
I'll run my 500/300 hp/tq combo for the street with the occasional race weekend Q16 day.

Just do a sleeved block and some good parts and call it a day. No need to do anything ground breaking. Fuck man just put down some good numbers and have fun. Then worry about breaking huge numbers.

Sleeved block, Eagles CPs, DITCH those fucking cams and get some CTR cams... STOCK cam gears... Big ass turbo, make 7 and be happy...
