so ive seen somebody on here using that aluminum rod similar to the hts 2000.
i just found out that my bbs wheels that i have been planning on running are pitted and
wont hold air. rather than trash them and getting new ones that are quite expensive i was thinking
about trying out this hts 2000 stuff.
however its on bbs XR aluminum (forged or cast) wheels. not sure how that will affect the strength of the metal.
any input is greatly appreciated. that rod costs like 65 bucks for a little beginner package. i guess jc whitney sells a similar product for cheaper.

i just found a smaller kit on ebay for 30 bucks instead of 65.
so ill be trying it out and letting everybody here know how it works.
ill post pics of before and after.

If youre welding inside the rim it should be fine, ive done a couple.

I used that stuff on an HX rim. It seamed to hold at first but poped out when I stated to grind it down. Just JBWeld it.
