Title: Part out, or sell whole??
Post by: MAJORAHOLE on September 17, 2010, 08:59:42 AM
gonna sell my civic, not sure if i would get more for it parted out or as a whole.
tha body is shit, except for my passenger side door, rear bumper, trunk lid, glass(besides windshield) and interior panels.
the seats are leather oem, but def. not in great shape.

as far as the kit
ebay 16g, ebay mani
dsm 450's
p28 socketed
brand new tires all around (a week old)

just not sure if its worth tearing apart, or hoping to find a local sucker who wants it
only good thing going for it is, there are probably only 5 other turbo hondas around

def not worth parting out.. especially if the body isnt in good condition... nothing special about the turbo kit... i cant see you getting more than 500 bucks for it alone... and a running driving car in piss poor condition is worth what.. 1k?

you should be able to easily sell a boosted Honda for more than that..

Post that shit on Craigslist. It will be bought by some fucktard high school kid who will in turn blow up the motor and then mommy and daddy will try and say its your fault only for you to find out he turned up the boost because the interwebs said to do so.

If it had a pricey build parting it out would be the smarter move but since it's not a running boosted car should sell pretty quick if it runs.

As long as you say it's "Hella JDM Yo!!!" You should be covered against any arguments from stupid parents. It's right there in the bible.  8)

it runs, just need either a clutchmaster or slave cylinder, not sure which yet
