excuse my ignorance, but what are they?
tubing connectors.  You push plastic tubing into them and they seal/grip instantly.

its vacuum hose that doesnt use barbs. Just push it in to have a secure lock. Then push the ring on the end and pull the hose out

And I'm tired of singing the same song and dance with this fucking car. Time for something different

Any industrial supply will have a wide variety of pushlok fittings.
Levis car is still for sale by the way, if anyone wants it they could have it for dirt cheap today, I am in a generous mood.

Won't work for me, I'm not attracted to shiny things.
I'll forward any money on the deal to Levi, but I wouldn't mind if someone gave me some bear for giving them a good deal and loading it on their trailer :)

Make sure you get either the hydraulic tubing or oil proof. The pneumatic stuff isn't compatible with some engine oils. Even pneumatic oil eats the clear stuff. Mcmaster carr, and automationdirect.com, have nickle coated fittings for pennies.

Given enough time, exposure to chemicals, and cyclical loading, they leak.
