Title: NEON VS CAMRY

IMO this is a no brainer and I am going to go with the camry but the neon has been a hell of a beater.

I currently have a purple sohc auto neon, 1996 with 999999999 miles on it. I have spent 300$ on it including purchase, plates, RACE MUFFLER, INTOOK, changing all the fluids/filters replacing the rear suspension etc. Runs like a top, gets 30mpg on the highway but the oil in the VC looks milky, not since the oil change though.

Other contender is a gold 1997 auto camry, with the v6. Has balls for an econo fwd, comfy as shit, recently had exhuast replaced. Currently in my name too but has been sitting outside for months waiting for me to decide what to do with it. How is the engine/tranny in this fucker? I assume stout motor.

I need to keep one as an unplated/unregistered/uninsured beater/parts runner/"i blew up the bmw again" car.
DD will be the E34 on boost as soon as it's running. So which one is the better choice?


Also, I was told the camry is a 96 and i think its titled as such but it 100% has the 97 front end on it so I think it is a 1997.... ya. Better motor?

Camry. Your neon has a blown head gasket, and probably fucked up exhaust valves. Those motors are shit.

my neon did good tranny fluid/engine oil assisted burnouts


also did jumps/rally's

but I would never ever own another one again. Go for the camry, every asian cant be wrong

My sister's neon blew a headgasket before 100k... I definitely vote camry.

Ya I'm gonna hope that the camry doesn't require any upkeep either besides gas in the tank and oil in the engine. I need to somehow get the camry and bmw here, sell the neon, park the camry someplace. Proceed to pimp with the BMW until magic elves put more gold flakes, diamonds, and precious metals in my oil pan. Then, entrada los camry.
