It  comes with a pile of parts. Complete JDM celica GT4 ST205 driveline wich uses a custom rear subframe built by pierce motorsports. The rear diff is in and complete but everything else needs mounted n shit. I got pretty much everything to piece it together but a clutch, intercooler and rad.

I thought you'd never come out and say who they were.  I deleted a post about them because Flippy said it was your secret.

The guy who started act worked at kep for like 2 decades before starting act. Lancaster/palmdale clutch heaven. There is also 10,000 rpm

http://www.10000rpm.com/

The guy use to do odd ball clutches for us to back when you use to be able to race hondas in california. 99 percent sure the owner is a nazi literally though.

I'm pretty sure i'm goin with this clutch from 10,000 rpm. Its for a miata but I just gotta call em up and make sure they can do the discs with e153 splines. I'm sure it won't be a problem, its a common toyota spline.

This bitch wieghs 10.5 lbs complete.......and its only $1100.00  :P

Found a nice clean victim. 65k miles and fresh paint. Picking it up this weekend.

So are we to expect some videos of this thing blowing sideways in the snow?

No, you should expect to see vids of it blowing sideways on dry pavement  :noel:

I'll hold you to this.

OK, I know I'm not the only one on here, what is a EGT in this context?

I have always hated the look of this body style, but seeing somebody doing a AWD conversion with boost peaks my interests.

So post more of this build up and do work.  :noel:

These things are sweet, my girl had one for a few years. Light and quick just stock with an intake and an exhaust leak.. Handle awesome, of course we had a brand new set of kum-hos on it when we got it, still, only a few pounds heavier than a honda hatch, and the stock motor will handle boost like a motherfucker.

Escort GT

.......and specifically speaking, the 91-95 escort gt's with the Mazda DOHC 1.8 BP. You remember my black one I wrecked that had the Holset right?

Yeah I remember it.  :noel:

I know we have one in charlotte which is about an hour away, I'm sure Joseph knows of a couple other in the general area as well. I know he mentioned one that wasn't too far away, have to ask him for specifics.

This is something I havent seen before. Watch that rear diff. If you blow it up you'll never find another. The rnp is an odd ratio and hard to get.

Post by: Cmak on January 08, 2012, 06:44:31 PM
Especially when a stock EGT only tips the scales at like 2345 or somewhere in there. Add in AWD stuff probably still be around 2500. Thing is gonna be sick. :noel:
