Title: burn 2 problems

all of a sudden one day, my burn 2 stopped working. i played with it and changed the com port, then it worked. plugged it in again a few days later and it didnt work. changed the com port and it works again. what would make it need to be changed everytime i use it.

Sometimes windows will think it's a new device, so it will hold the old port and give it a new port. IIRC there should be some setting to disable port saving. Otherwise you have to go to device manager and force it the old port. I advice you to force all the others too, as that will free them up.

i dont have issues with anything else. i use an ostrich, demon, lc-1 with usb-serial adaptor, hulog and aldl logger with no problems.

Then CALL up moates support when they're availible. Last time I did they gave great support. They suck at EMAIL, however.

I have always had good luck with mr blundell answering me. I just didn't want to bother them if it was something simple I was overlooking

Dave handles email.  What have you done to piss him off?  He usually types all in caps before he makes you wait a week for responses.

I tried long emails and short emails. Nothing worked. Maybe I shoudl have mentioned that while I was talking to him. Better yet had the emails opened while he took control of my PC. lol
