Title: Hx-52 on a z6?
Post by: crxvtec91 on October 25, 2011, 02:45:09 PM
Thoughts on this, with maybe a small t3 before it? Im thinking log, t3 into Hx52, then use 2 50mm ebay wg to by pass the t3 on the higher boost levels.

...................... retarded the 2 wg are going to become a bigger restriction than a t3 and your are going to be held back by the t3 without bypassing it at higher boost so just dont do it

4bar, pbt 74mm tb, 200shot

...................... retarded the 2 wg are going to become a bigger restriction than a t3 and your are going to be held back by the t3 without bypassing it at higher boost so just dont do it

How can you tell 2 50mm wg would become to much of a restriction?

i cant, but i wouldn't try it based on the fact i cant prove they would be a restriction... its just not an ideal setup but hey thats why i love this forum so props to you for coming up with the idea and maybe trying it, hopefully you'll prove me wrong  (btw when i first read it i thought of two 38mm wg but even at 50 the flow characteristic and valve might hurt your flow maybe if you used a throttle body type valve

Mount a wastegate actuator on a throttle body.

The RHMT boost activated exhaust dump.
