I guess someone wanted it more than me, will be interesting to see if my parts end up on craigslist. Funny thing is that I went out to get my wallet out of it last night around 12 and almost said fuck it ill get it tomorrow. Rental hooptie ftw

Fuck Thieves. Hope you can get some of your shit back.

shitty deal man. I don't know what I'd do if that happened to me. I don't think people realize that cars for the most part are necessities nowadays.
-
Pre paid phone hard wired in up under the dash on top of the heater vents with free tracking on the phone. I'll knock on there Fucking door, then pull the shotgun. Hope u get that shit back.

ive been thinking about do this once I start putting my car back together...

I used to have a quick disconnect steering wheel that I would bring inside every night, switched back to a honda one about a year ago....fail. Comical that my car never got touched once while living in Baltimore for two years, move back in with the rents in a much nicer area, car gets broken into once and now this. Hopefully, I get at least the shell back and don't get dicked by insurance too hard.

so do receipts for parts get you any real money from insurance companies? have about 5k of legitimate receipts just in paint and parts, claim adjuster said to include everything I had, so Ill hope for the best even though I don't expect 5k total.
-
usually you need to claim the parts before your car is stolen. they will come out and take pics then agree on a value of your car.
that shit sucks man, hope you don't get too raped by insurance.
Yep, with both Geico and Esurance (I haven't used any other company recently), they tell you to call to speak about coverage for aftermarket stuff. I wouldn't depend on receipts to get what you paid for it, unless someone hit you and you were dealing with their insurance.
-
filling out insurance report and pulling up all my receipts, spent way too much on the shit box over the years ha
will post new build soon, handle of jim beam 25 bones at the liquor store might prevent speedy post

its not a duramax, its a GM motor, they didn't swap out to jap motors until later, for what I plan on doing I think it will be fine esp with relatively low miles

One of the worlds worst (or most unreliable, whatever you want to call it) diesel engines ever made.

:(, but passanger hows your mat, my work just bought a 3 axis pallet changer, kinda week moves 1-1.5 in the z unless you warm it up for an hour at 15k.....super weak considering we dont do production work 24/7....and ofcourse the college kid is the one who gets to fuck with it. its has the whole "setup mode" which you have to be in handle to change tools and it door alarms eveytime, so you have to reset it everytime to change tools. Ps im hammered but i dislike the whole Mat/Fanuc control hybrid, need to reed more on it but, as per usual they bought the wrong machine for the shit we do, prob parameter change to avoid door alarm, but to set tools we use a macro g program---->betch face
ps jim beam da shit

change tools out of spindle not just changing tools, cheats?, id rather have a daewoo ftw

A Matsuura? Which model, RA? Sounds like a Fanuc 31i. Door interlock could be as simple as a user parameter, some of the new ones you need to edit the ladder. It is likely an integral motor spindle which usually grow .0005-.002" during warm up. I have a couple machines with integral motor spindles and you just need to warm them up, for a couple grand you can buy the auto start ups that fire up the machine at your set time and run your warm up cycle. On a 15k and up spindle you really need a good warm up program, I'll take a picture of the warm up schedule for my cell later today.
Yes Jim Beam is shit, I recommend Makers Mark 46 or Glenfiddich 18 ;)
