SRS light has nothing to do with the ECU.  :noel:

What was the CEL code?

How is your car battery?

Almost sounds like when you go to start your car there was a short interruption in voltage to the ECU and SRS.

Is the ignition switch ok?

car starts idle like shit when you touch throttle it dies. I jumper to get get code and srs light just flashes and the cel stays solid. Fuckin wierd. never seen it happen before.

I do recall having this happen. I can't recall what was the prob, but I'm certain it was a phantom code from a minor mech problem. CEL went on while running, go to check it and it's gone.

Swap the ecu and dizzy. Almost sounds like it's not able to read the chip and in limp dick mode.
