I figure the only way this will happen is if someone makes a thread.
sooooooo, my thoughts are march-ish, at Sewell's place since he already offered.
We can all pitch in a few $$ for the wings, I can bring my turkey fryer or buk can grill. I also have a big ass charcoal grill I can bring if needed since I will trailer(no title) my car down anyway.
Thoughts, concerns, shut the hell up Floridians couldn't put together a meet even if they all lived in the same town?

Im down obviously seeing as im a hour from sewells.lol march or early april at latest the summer heat down here gets pretty shitty sometimes. I'm sure people down here can come up with grills and shit.

what part of FL? I wanted to go to the east coast to visit family around that time of year. I have a uncle in Sarasota.
Port St. Lucie. It's on the east coast, about midway down the state, might be considered south Florida.

Port st.lucie (psl) is the farthest north you can pretty much go in soflo. there's a decent amount of racing in psl and in west palm but I must say psl I feel is a safer place less gangs and people getting pissed off and shooting mother fuckers. feb would be best for the weather but lets face it we are all broke ass nogs on here and probably wont have are shit done in time. :noel:

Work gets done at my shop. Its dirty. Old guys love my shop because they know that i actually do stuff from being dirty, and the random shit thats around it. I had one old guy tell me that he would have been worried if my shop was spotless, because that meant i didn't work in it, and by extension probably didnt know what im doing.

My home shop looks exactly like yours and shit gets done for sure. Otherwise I would have time to clean it. Funny thing is, I can find anything in it and I know everything that's there.
So, since you are here. How does this plan sound for you?

Just checked to fly from Casper (CPR) to Orlando (MCO) mid March would cost me $500 to $800. :'(

Wow flights are anywhere from $220 to $1000 (Calgary to Orlando) depending on the day. If we can get the dates hammered down before too long, for $220 I'm there for sure.

I'm sure the NC meet would be bigger. This just came up with buk talking about wings and Sewell has offered to host a dyno day multiple times. I figured this would be just a small Florida thing, but everyone is welcome.

I'd recommend anyone go if not for buk. Catsman has some bug up his ass recently, but he's really a good dude and super laid back IRL, the sort that would give you the shirt off his back.

And as for the NC meet im sure will be bigger, but sewell is always fun even if there is only gay people up there. And my hatch will be turboed by june but idk if i would drive it up there ill have to see how reliable it is and how much money I have by then.

Mooresville race shops, Lake Norman and 2 million dollar houses, good bbq, south park mall in Charlotte for ballers like you. Just to name a few. Oh and the best shoe shine ever for $5 at the Charlotte airport.

Sorta yes, Sorta no. When older guys have mentioned that, it was more of a way of saying, we can tell your working, and dont have time to lean. I dont keep my shop a mess on purpose, just ends up that way.

You get more done in a clean and organized shop, cleaning has precisely fuck all to do with having time to lean, people who lean don't clean. Keeping a clean and organized shop just takes discipline.
My shop has been a mess for a few weeks now, we've lost a lot of time because of it, this week it is going to get cleaned up real good 8)

I always clean in between jobs, its just that one one job ends, another starts. In 10 yrs ive never not had a day of works. I currently have 4 good sized jobs going on, and a couple other smaller ones.
