hi guys,
i used to work at a honda dealer at 2004-2005 and while working there i used the old vetronix oem PGM scan tool, which connected to the 3 wire connector of the 90's hondas. it was gr8.
just when i left the dealer i came across the HDS and i never had time to mess with it,
does the HDS work on OBD1 hondas?
on all the pictures of the HDS i came across with, it seems like there is a 3 wire female connector, but i'm not sure.
i cant find alot of info in thw software or screenshots or even youtube vids,
can cnyone shed some light on this device?
thanks

Honda HDS has been discontinued... your sits unused cuz it got an update, and no longer work...
pretty sure all the techs just use a jumper (or custom jumper) to rock the blinking light just like everyone else...

I'm interested in one of the Honduh-specific scan tools to deal with the IMMO stuff - but only if it's cheap. I can swap IMMO boards in most of the cars, but some vehicles (D17 Civic) don't have a proper board that can be swapped or altered when needed.
Dustin, do you know if the HIM covers that for mid-millenia cars, etc, or what I should look into to deal with vehicles like that?

guys here say the HDS and HIM are obsolete. they just don't work anymore.

So they are supposed to web-interface for whatever they do, and they've been superceded. Got it.

I have a old him fuck if I can get it to read off the 3 pin at the moment ::) I remember the old hand held thing working on the 3 pin dlc. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-PGM-Tester-Diagnostic-Scan-Tool-Card-/300410631836?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&vxp=mtr&hash=item45f1de769c (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-PGM-Tester-Diagnostic-Scan-Tool-Card-/300410631836?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&vxp=mtr&hash=item45f1de769c)
