So keep a red rag with you. I always have one to check the oil. Figure if your putting oil in, you probably checked the level.

I for one dont like spending 20 bucks on oil caps. Stock one works great.

I have both, a 75mm vitara D and a less than 60k mile k20z. I know all about checking oil weekly and change the oil and forget it.

Wow, my current piston/rod D16 and 181k b16a3 don't burn any oil. I even had a d15b2 with enough blowby to blow up balloons with the breather tube. Honestly the levels never changed at all between oil changes.

red shop towels suck!!!!

Get a pack of 12 plain wash cloths at Wal-Mart for $3, throw away when they get nasty.

I cant remember, but I think I paid about 13 bucks for a pack of 50 shop rags at Sam's Club. In laws let us have one of their membership cards. HF is pretty cheap too.

And my racecar didnt burn or leak oil at all. But my daily leaks. I think I fail at putting pan gaskets on when the motor is in the car.

red shop towels don't pick up shit, just smear it around.

Thats why you use them for wiping your hands, checking oil, and keeping your hands from touching hot manifolds while grabbing dip sticks, and taking off metal oil caps I guess.

If you want to "pick up" shit, steal these if you work at a shop (didnt know they were so fuckin expensive).
