$30 Best Buy gift certificate. 2 pairs of shoes. Kids probably got 75+ presents though - insane. Gave wife a kitchen aid 600 pro mixer. Parents got a 46" sony. Sis got a couple hundred bones - made her work for it tho. Wrapped it up in a plastic dutch brothers cup that I sealed with a roll of tape, then a roll of fiberglass packing tape, then a roll of duct tape, some leather, and then I wrapped it sheet metal and tacked it shut.

And all your shit and leave you with all the debt, and nothing to show for it. Sounds like a solid plan.

My wife bought a kureig about 2 months ago. It's nice when it works, but it's a piece of shit most of the time. It will make a cup of coffee, then the pump will run to refill it and nothing happens. I found that taking the water tank off and slamming it back down worked. I did that for about 2 weeks then it started working everytime. I just fill the water tank without taking it off and so far so good. When she moves out I'm buying a different brand though.

I got a couple boxes of flavor cups for a keurig machine last xmas (the giver not realising you need the machine to use them). Is there another brand that can use the k-cups if the keurig machines are crap?
Title: Re: Chritmas Haul Thread
Post by: malichite on January 03, 2012, 04:12:14 PM
I have had zero issues with mine so far.  Probably made 40 cups of coffee so far.

Yeah the water level detectors are a known flaw.. ours did that shit once.  Other than that it has been pretty damn great

Post by: PhilStubbs on January 03, 2012, 05:38:09 PM
There are others that use K-cups. After the problems I have had and researched about I would trust a CDM tubular manifold more than another kureig brand machine again.

Those things a pile of shit. Just go get your $9.99 Rite Aid coffee maker and call it a day. Have a few people that I know that have gone through more than a couple. And they make maybe 3-4 cups a day.

My Walmart special $8 coffee pot works great, I do not trust the K-cup things.

i like it cause i make one to-go cup of coffee every morning. it takes less than 2min to do, where if i had to use the regular pot it would be 10-15min for that one cup of coffee. i dont have that much time in the mornings
Title: Re: Chritmas Haul Thread
Post by: rawr on January 03, 2012, 10:06:10 PM
I grab a pinch of coffee grounds and throw them in my lip and chew that shit like grizz in the morning. That's how men intake caffeine

These machine are cool, but the coffee is expensive.

Coffee is free at my work so I don't care and take a lot. With that machine it would be like 3-4$/day or maybe more if I count the one I take from home.

I have that one at home and I don't regret one second. I have it for 3 years now and still working great (hopefully, at 450$...) I probably made more than 3000 cup with it so far.

It's take 2 minutes from the start of the machine to the coffee in my cup so the time argument is not very valid with that one. :)

Takes 60 seconds max to change the filter and add water the night before. I wake up to a fresh pot erryday because I paid the extra 2$ for the model with the clock. The keurig is the bisi of the coffee world. Enjoy your overspending, you feminine buttfucks.

My Keurig was free.  I couldn't give 2 shits.  it replaced my $19.99 jobber on my desk and works like a champ.  If it dies, I will dust off the OG pot, but so far so good with this thing, its fast, makes good coffee, cost me nothing and has blue lights.   :noel:

Ricer :P

All you whiny bitches talking about how long a traditional coffee maker takes to brew so thats why you went with your overpriced setup should have went with this
http://www.bunnathome.com/products/velocity-brew/velocity-brew-nhbb (http://www.bunnathome.com/products/velocity-brew/velocity-brew-nhbb)

then you can buy your own Folgers crap and not spend $2-$3 for a shitty cup, and you could spend $2-$3 for a shitty pot. Let me guess "I dont need a whole pot of coffee" Then only brew 4 cups and fill you big ass to go cup up and call it a day. It takes 3min for a whole pot to brew, So it would only take about 1min to brew your 4cups and is pretty much bullet proof. Like Mr. Christ said, set it up the night b4.

That does look kinda awesome. I'm going with "I didn't pay for mine" too. My wife bought it and will be taking it with her. We dont have "our" money so I had nothing to do with it.
