Title: making booze at home - whos done it
Post by: 7808 on February 22, 2012, 01:42:33 PM: found out of friend i havent talk to in a while works at a large homebrew and grow type place swung by picked up $19 worth of shit to get started, u can use any container, bread yeast, and ballons or condoms i guess but if your a hardcore fuck like me you dont have fagot ballons and you hate condoms an airlock is actually cheaper anyways unless u go get dickbags from your local free clinic

going off of http://www.instructables.com/id/Home-Brew-Hard-Cider-from-Scratch/ (http://www.instructables.com/id/Home-Brew-Hard-Cider-from-Scratch/) i just started my 1st batch just used 1gal of apple juice with no preservatives in it, most of a $.60 packet of champagne yeast, 1 or 2 lbs of sugar and a few sprinkes of yeast nutrient in a 2gal bucket with an airlock that i sanitized in the dishwasher. depends how it turns out im thinkin of trying other kinds of juice and shit. anyone got any tips to make delicious tasting apple juice that gets you wasted? im a little concerned my shit wont be low proof and i could of just spent the money on a 6 pack of 40s but every sence someone gave a friend of mine a mason jar of home made cider once and it really tasted like fresh apple cider no alcohol taste but it f'd you up ive wanted to try it

Post by: DasPoop on February 24, 2012, 12:01:18 AM: make sure to check alcohol levels as well as how much methanol is in it you dont want to go blind. simple way is to put it in a small wine glass put it up to your eye ans swirl if it burns like hell you will most certainly go blind.

Post by: 7808 on March 01, 2012, 06:33:49 PM: pretty hmt brew setup. old keg, 50-75ft of 1/2 soft copper? what looks like a water heater element and some rigged up controller with a temp probe input? looks like a pretty expensive setup for not that expensive i see maybe $2-300 worth of shit there depending on how resourceful you are. and depends what you had already :noel:

if you guys want to make actual high proof booze you might want to look into a homemade still some people build pretty cool ones to make ethanol fuel :evil:
