Needs a drive axle (clicks extremely bad), and a new charging system and it will be my daily driver.  I think the oil pan is leaking something fierce..... Gonna get it on a lift to track down.

are you using a crank for a parking brake?

Ya, only when on hills and I need to idle the engine, otherwise I leave it in gear.  That's a jdm d15b crank :).  The ebrake cables need adjusting but I am waiting till I do my brake line replacement to adjust em.

Do you have another one of those jdm d15b cranks?  :noel:

Hahaha, see, I didn't care how crappy of a condition it was in because I planned on making a full cage in it;  engine guard, the works.  I would tuck the cage as close to the body rails as possible, but cut holes in the body/firewall for things like a pillar bars.

I didn't plan on it having an accessible back seat, I would probably open the trunk box to expand it there.

There were other ideas to do a mid/rear engine in this puppy.  It would take a lot of work, but I am more than compitent.... I just lack the location to do such a drawn-out project.   Maybe if I am lucky, In the future my boss will let me use the shop.

I would just make it nice and cruise it. Find a rotted out beater to make into a racecar.

I'm planning on mounting a turbo directly to the intake manifold, and a ~50-70mm side draft carb to this bitch on the stock motor before I pull it out...

I really want to abuse this 1200cc engine as much as possible... After all it was free!
