Got the bitch running. Drove her to autozone for vacuum hose to hook up wastegate. Went part throttle and was running lean. Cruised around out of boost.. Next thing I know I've got oil over windshield. Pull over, and the fucking egay oil feed line started leaking. Was hitting manifold, and burned a hole through it. Got new oil line on. Will start tonight after work.. rippers to follow :evil:

She pulls hard. Hit 8 psi by 4500 rpms. Needs more boost. Threw on the 1000s since the 450s were at almost 80% duty cycle; with around 12.5-12.8

Willing to bet you could shorten up that spool time by doing some creative porting with that twin scroll housing. i.e. shaping the divider to promote exhaust gas flow instead of it coming out of the log and just hitting that flat surface in the middle. I also think there is an adapter to convert your standard T3 flanged manifold to a makeshift twin scroll. Certainly no replacement for a true divided manifold with properly paired cylinders, but probably still worth doing.
PS, if you already have this done, fuck you.

got my boost leak fixed. Back up to 7-8psi. Throwing a gm 2 bar sensor tonigh, and cranking the fucker up to 12 pounds.

I say smaller turbo and 20psi. More power, better powerband. If nothing else, take some sheet metal and block off one of the 2 volutes on the turbine inlet.

very nice setup! I cant believe I missed this thread. Did you upgrade the fuel pump and change to colder plugs? I think a cam would benefit your setup quite a bit. Did you lose the ringlands on 14psi or just headgasket? Also how much boost retard are you using? Finally, another a20 build!

Fuel pump still stock. Going double walbros soon. Plugs are one step colder, but thinking of going back to stock ones. I'm stuck between ordering a bisi 2.4 cam, or a delta 272-2. I haven't touched anything on the car since then (working on CRX that I picked up for stupid cheap). I only did .5 per pound for retarding.

Update on the car. It's in storage. Engine still hasn't been pulled. I've been having too much fun with my e85 nitrous fed crx :noel:
Parts have been ordered for the lude though. Should be back up and running beginning of next month.

I found some specs on my turbo finally-
17cm2
Compressor inducer 65mm, exducer 74 mm, 44 trim
Turbine inducer 50 mm, exducer 75 mm, 77 trim
So it's not too big, I also found two of the exhaust studs on the old head were stripped, and I was missing one nut. That's what was causing so much lag, and boost not coming in so hard. My turbo wasn't spooling fully. Go figure, still made almost 250whp :noel:
