Seems like theres a few street bike guys, but whos into the offroad kind.  Post up your junk and terrain/ thoughts.

I like to keep it honda with a 98 xr400.  Unknown mods, has some sort of high comp piston with gordons mods.  It sees mostly technical woods trails with some desert riding in eastern wa

hm that sucks.

i've been pretty happy with this bike. it has lots of power and i like how it sits higher off the ground than a crf450

i had some problems with the front brake, had to replace master cylinder and its still not the best brake but it works enough for me.

i paid 2100 for this one, just had the motor rebuilt at a dealership, some internal oiling mods to the engine to supposedly make it run cooler, geared down w/ rear sproc, nice levers and such...

i bought the brush guards and the IMS 3.1 gal tank. the tank is awesome, i like the extra weight on the bike.

these bikes scare me in the woods they are way too fast on tight trails lol. i hurt myself pretty bad at china hat two weeks ago. im just now getting over the lower back pain. hit a rock wot in 3rd coming out of a long corner, dust cleared and a big ass rock right in front of me, went for a over the handle bars test flight about 15 feet, rolled another 5. couldn't get up, laid just off the trail for about an hour. then rode back down the road about 6 miles (i was aprox 30 miles into the race) and laid on the ground for hours.

it hurt... on the bright side i saw an antelope while i was laying in the dirt though
