Title: Anyone here use The Pirate Bay?
Post by: brine04 on April 18, 2009, 03:37:55 AM: Just heard on the news that the founders and programmer were sentenced to a year in prison and a fine of $3.5M. Did a bit of reading on the TPB forums and the lack of support for them is brutal.

torrents are a great idea though. pirate bay just did something wrong, that's all.
hell, you can get a ton of warez on rapidshare and all those hosting sites.

I don't use the site much anymore and there are plenty of others to use if it did go down. I don't understand why they prosecuted those people for the site but allowed it to keep running, though.
