wahts up nogs anyone really good at messing with battery ofsets to make big iinjectors idle SMOOTHE!!

i been srewing with it i either get a bumpy idel or really rich idel mixture that later on gets bumpy and un consistent

heres my bin fiel

specs motor

b16a stock p30 pistons stock CR!!

cdm set up dont matter  really

Add more fuel until it leans out.

PTE 880 like to idle rich here's a bin i used b16 low cpr 9.0 when try to use the pte 1000cc injector selection for your injectors they are the same injector except 880 use smaller spray you may need to remove timing from my map my base is up 3*

goood stuff guys! ;D  im throwing in a 2.5 bar then too even though i dont need it but ill try it out
or  i can just paste over the matching colums and call it a day?  (non boost)

if you have the 2bar i would just throw it in cuz im not to shure about that copy paste stuff. how did the map work out?

i did not throw in the 2.5 bar i played around with it with out a wide band at idel and made it richer seemed to make it idle steadey er

but then it still som times bounces up and down but at leaset now when its cold it holds a steady 1500 rpm till it warms up

the 880 like to idle rich i had a steady idle at 13.3 and below any thing above would pop and misfire

Yuppers I just cranked up the fpr on the big powa big H all motor build. I had idle at the high 12's

Elaborate a little more for me please. So do you just keep adding untill it missfires so the wb  now reads lean? Or am I missing something.  :-\

Don't you add fuel until it stops popping?

What version of crome are you using?

Use fuel tools. THe bin you posted doesn't have it installed.

Is that a basemap you made or is that an actual tune? That's the weirdest looking map I've ever seen. :?: Those boost fuel values are awfully low as well.

Wrong.

Play around with some laggy injectors sometime, low Z 750cc+ RC are some of the worst.  You'll have your shit running rich and try to lean it out only to have it stall.  The only fix is to add more fuel, and it works.

wtf how does this work does it bump up the injector timing till the point were it will fire early rather than late to compensate for the lag? couldnt you offset with injector latency from the bat-tables or the offset.

I usually use fuel tools to get the car idling lean with missfires then go into battery offsets to richen it up.
then just use the fuel tables to tune after that. I get a smooth idle most of the time like this.

All of this crap has to be done first, as soon as you have your laptop setup on the car for the first time I get this right and play with ect afr adjustments as the car warms up and have a solid running tune that doesn't get affected by weather changes and electrical load very much.

I just turn up the fpr up a couple pounds

I have a hard time getting my precision 1000's to idle nice, I'm going to try one of those injector driver's thay are like $60 for a diy board.

how would a injector dirver help..btw wats its  supposed to do in realation to when your ecu is trying to drive the injectors  ??? ??? ??? ???

Have any of you actually tried to pump up the fuel pressure yet

I have a stock fpr so turnin up the fuel pressure isnt really going to happen, and the injector driver will "supposedly" help peak and hold especially larger ones idle much smoother. Peak and hold injectors are supposed to get 4 amps to open the injector and then drop down to 1 amp to keep it open, when you use a resistor box you dont get that it just gets its one steady amperage, whatever depending on the resistance of the coil in the injector plus the resistance of the resistor you spliced in.

I dont have any personal experience with injector driver's but its pretty cheap and i've read good things about them. And really its how the injectors were designed to be run so might as well give them what they want.

Running the injectors how they were designed to be run has nothing to do with driver boxes.

Your problem is flow mismatch between injectors at idle.

Peak and hold injectors were ment to be opened with a higher initial amperage then held open with a lower one, with resistor boxes you dont get that, since the internal weight of the larger injector is more they open/close slower which can be fixed with a driver.

nigga edit..  i can read lol

i think i just found my problem my injector wires are not  hooked up properly sequecne wise.. gonna get a wire diagram and match the colors.. injector 1 to injector on now how i have it now lol
