The tie-rod repair is the best, i wonder if the re-adjusted toe after the blatant inch of overlapping?

idk about you but how many threads are your tier ods threaded in? i would say mine are at least .75-1" in

We bought off a customer who sandwitched it in between two cars, set back both front tires pretty bad, broke the knuckle, bent all strafing bars/tie rods.
To be able to move it around the shop/street @ work we quickly tried welding the arm, it broke off two times on my boss, so I went in, welded the piss out of it (oil soaked), and added a support triangle. We had to plasma and shorten the tie rod due to hub setback.
I thought you guys would get a kick out of it.
Ironically It's holding, and is able to be driven in and out of parking spaces and the street.

That knuckle scares the shit out of me. Tie rod looks ok though. Bump steer adjusted....kinda probably not.....

bump steer wouldn't change unless the mounting point of the tie rod changed, either on the inner or outer joint. What happens in the middle of the tie rod does not affect bump.

Both front tires are "set back" at least 2-4" if not more!!! So the tie rods ended up being too long when the knuckle was re attached, and the passenger tire rubber the rear of the fender like mad!

You are correct and my bad. I'm not sure what the fuck i was thinking. The pivot on the rack and ball joint stuffed into the spindle did not change.
I'm surprised as fuck that thing supports it's own weight PARKED let alone moving.

shop picked it up for $500 while simultaneously taking in $3,500 on another... lol
and when he saw us move dive it a day later he was amazed...
we just needed that bitch to be able to be driven around and moved out of the way instead of disabled.
shit is funny as fuck....
