MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says people who openly carry firearms should not automatically be charged with disorderly conduct.
He made the statement in an advisory opinion mailed Monday to the state's district attorneys.
The state constitution allows people to openly carry firearms for lawful purposes, including hunting.
Van Hollen says that in some circumstances openly carrying a firearm may warrant a disorderly conduct charge. But he says other facts and circumstances should be considered before automatically charging someone with disorderly conduct simply for carrying a firearm in the open.
Wisconsin is 1 of 2 states where it is illegal to carry a concealed weapon.

In CA is legal to open unloaded carry, but what the fuck does "legal" mean anyway, the cops dont play by the book. If something looks 'wrong' like an ordinary citizen carrying a unloaded gun, they'll throw your ass in jail, take your gun, and drop the charges. You'll pay a shit ton in lawyer fees and in the end it wont even be worth it to try and get your gun back. Fucked up ass system. revolution i say.
