Title: knocking question?
Post by: blackdc2 on August 29, 2012, 02:47:14 PM
Finally got my slut back together last night after having a crazy ex who flipped any time i stepped into the garage. Needless to say the ex is gone and the car got put back together. I put a b20b in my integra because it was free and I'm cheap. I know about the weak sleeves. Anyways after having it running for a little bit I took it out of the garage and got about 20 seconds down the road when I started to smell fuel. Seeing I just redid the fuel lines I decided to bring the car back. Hit boost in first only about 7lbs on a t3/t04e before smelling fuel. Got back to the garage, shut the car off and and changed a seal on my injectors. Started the car up and it started to knock. Stock block, I'm kinda sketched that I might have bent the rod on the cylinder that would of been lean from the fuel injector leaking. I'll be plastigauging the engine tomorrow night just wondering would the rods bend at 7lbs?

Knock knock.

Who's there?

Bearing.

Much better than ending with "rod".

I made an intro before the sight went down a while back. Seems to have been deleted. And yes it was the rod. Looks closer to a horseshoe now.
