if they have an agreement with your state (many states do because people do what you are) then you'll be fucked in your state too and the fine will be about triple by the time you get the notice of a bench warrent mailed to you.
just food for thought you may want to look into your state and ohio. I konw when i got my last ticket in ohio i laughed when the cop gave it to me. It was like $100 and my last ticket in PA was close to $200 and was for alot less mph over the limit. Ohio's pretty cheap or at least used to be

Basicly says VA adn Ohio are a part of teh pact. Im fucked. God i fucking hate ohio. You know they got that shit down to a business when no one but out of staters are pulled and it takes like 10-15 minutes from Lights to driving off. Ive never gotten a ticket that quick, but i guess when you don't care about running licenses just processing the money errrr ticket i mean its different. I dunno all i know is fuck ohio
-
heh you know how much ohio sucks I got pulled over last week and got a seatbelt ticket. I have been trying for an hr to call and find out how much it is and no one is answering lol.
edit: just got through my fine was $73 for nt wearing a seat belt anyone know how much this is in other states?

Yeah the days of just not going back to a state for x years for the thing to drop is long gone. Few of my relatives couldn't go drive through certain states if they were taking a trip cause of shit like that. And a few of em had so many years they couldn't visit back to PA cause they moved instead of dealing with law trouble. My bother taught us that was passed when he got an out of state ticket in a hand me down still in my mom's name in college. Needless to say when the warrent showed up for my mom (just a scary letter about failure to pay fines yadda yadda they'll arrest you in your own state eventually) my brother lost his beater until the fine was paid and it was just for a fucking parking ticket. Originally couldn't have been more than $10 was well over $50 by then.

Dude I agree in so many ways
Go into any DUI courtroom and watch them call the entire room to stand up and be sworn in/plead out as a group to save time. (they offer extra probation and fine for a promise of a clean record)
Go into any probation office and ask random people how much of a joke probation is. Ask how many of them get high or are high, ask how many of them even talk to their probation officer for more than 5 sentences if they're current or paid in full for their fines.
The system is so far skewed from fixing people/protecting others/whatever else the original 'good intentions' were and just looking to tax people that fuck up. Thank god I'm past that stage of my life but it was an eye opener to how pathetic our judicial system is
