Title: crx rear disc conversion
Post by: si 1 on April 24, 2009, 11:59:27 AM
Hi, i was wanting to do a disc conversion on my 90 crx dx. I was reading around and saw that some people were changing there master cylinders and putting in a 40/40 prop valve? I was wondering if anyone else has done this swap. Im pretty sure that only thing i need is some brake lines and this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/91-acura-integra-REAR-DISC-BRAKE-SUSPENSION-civic-crx_W0QQitemZ350193619645QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item350193619645&_trksid=p4506.m20.l1116 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/91-acura-integra-REAR-DISC-BRAKE-SUSPENSION-civic-crx_W0QQitemZ350193619645QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item350193619645&_trksid=p4506.m20.l1116)  let me know if any of you guys have any info other wise ill just figure that shit out myself. thanks. I did a rear disc conversion and didn't swap the prop valve or master cylinder.  The rear brakes will lock up a bit sooner.  I've got a prop valve and master cylinder from a del sol si, but haven't put them on yet.

I'd think you could go to your local junk yard and get a little better deal, thats almost $100 for shipping.
