Title: VNT15 VGT actuator question

can anybody tell me, can i replace the actuator on a VGT Vnt15 with a normal wastegate actautor?
i get the Turbo for near nothing ;D but the all the stuff to control the vanes is missing :-[
iam still dont know which position is full boost :'(

You can, BUT it has to be mounted on the opposite side. That acutuator works on vacuum not boost.  ;)

The spring will still force it in the wrong direction unless you mount the actuator the other way. The dual port could be interesting from a control standpoint though.
What are you thinking of using this on?

just for a DD

it came from a 1,9 diesel
i dont think its too small,right size to pep up the tourque and at some ponys 8)
180-190hp would be great

hmm i was thinking they operate like a hydraulik piston
one side boost push the actuator
one side vac which pulls the stuff

is it possibel to switch the spring inside?
just put it on the other side from the Diaphragma?

if not i just buy a spare one for 90$

Then that turbo is too small, it is like a 140-145hp turbo max.

That much power isn't likely.  Its pretty damn small.
And no its not possible to switch the spring.  Just MOUNT IT AN THE OPPOSITE SIDE so it pushes instead of pulls.

i think i just lock the vgt and replace the charger after passed tech inspection O0

150hp ->Cake walk
190hp ->The guy from tech inspection go medieval on my ass and force me to swap brakes :?:

Wait...your area requires you do DYNO your car? Thats really weird. Here they just mail me stickers. If they do, just get a 3-5psi wastegate actuator, then slap an MBC on once you leave.

If that's the VNT17 size not a -22 or -25, you'll get instant boost w/o the VNT shit. But a simple actuator in reverse would spool it even faster. I'd suggest you sell it on that fuelsavers website or ebay for a profit, and get a T25 from the 2G failmobiles. Put the money towards that CDM shit you've been dreaming of.  :noel:

i know a guy that make the dyno with 200hp,pass the test, get his sticker and while leaving the test area he crank the bosst up to make 350hp again ;D
