Title: GMC Envoy speedo
Post by: trevor72 on April 28, 2009, 07:05:28 PM
Ok i have searched a bit on google, and i have rented this POS to go pick up something since i don't have a new truck yet. Does anyone know if you can unplug the speedo like a honda?  Stupid national car rental doesn't do unlimited miles on weekends anymore.

awesome  thx, i know nothing about the newer chev stuff.  I'm guessing a simple battery cable disconnect for a few mins will cure the light in the event it wants to stay on....

**back to Google to search for diagrams

Ive unplugged the speedo on many rentals that didnt have unlimited mileage.  Most would shift funny.  Not a big deal IMHO.

When you blow a trans 800 miles out and the speedo only shows you went 3 miles, its all on you

You hitch a ride, and call it in stolen.
