Hi guys, hope you can help me with this problem, it's EG D16 high compression build, chipped a p06 ecu, ok, plugged with J1 cutted (as stock one) and works good, but appear after some seconds cel, ok i noticed iacv is buzzing, then i key off and key on (engine off) again and solid cel, disconnect battery, again, key on (engine off) and not cel, after some seconds cel appears again and iacv is buzzing again. i dont know what to check, tried to chip this ecu right and i was thinking that i dit everything clean and good but idk what's problem.
any help will be appreciate it a lot.

btw, plug is the right one, blue/yellow and yellow/black.

Look at the IAC and purge valve plug did not get swapped around.
Car should run the IAC disconnected when warming up and you will a IAC code if disconnected.
When I set idle rpm on a fresh motor I get the engine warmed up.
Then disconnect IAC with a jumper in the under dash plug.
Adjust Idle and Timing, if you have a hulog turned on in crome you can read the code.
I usually get a IAC code (do not remember the number)
After the adjustments are made, turn the engine off pull the jumper out of the under dash plug.
Then pull the ecu or backup fuse for few minutes, replace fuse and hook the IAC back up.
Then start the car and you should not get IAC code again unless IAC is bad or plugs are swapped.

Iat, pcs, Iacv are all the same plug. Mixing up pcs and iat = melted iat and blown ecu (Q31 iirc)

thanks for replies! i checked and plug is the correct. that was the first thing i checked.
92CXyD, you means disconnect iac with cel and start up the engine?
im checking and looks like Q30 is for iacv..i'll check it again.

No disconnected while the engine is running, look in the tune-up section of your Honda repair manual. :noel:

checked ecu again, looks really good, i ll shoot some pics, just dried rest of flux i used.. hope works, otherwise i will test another iacv..

cleand and tested it again, with J1 cutted, any cel right now but when i bypass it solid cel and iavc is again crazy, i will check all welds :-\

Walter solder not welds!!
I assume you mean when you jumper the service plug, you get a solid cel.
If this is what ya meant than that is normal, if you get a flashing cel then it is giving you a fault code.

nope, i means J1 switch..shitt i will upload how looks my solders of my ecu.
When i cut J1 any cel, when i jump J1 , solid cel appear and iavc is fucking loud..

all solders looks like that but right now i noticed in the up side isnt filled lol, do that could affect if it's good soldered in the bottom side?? :mexi:

heat up each joint and make sure the solder is flowing to make lead to circuit board connection, if that makes sense.
Also I learned the hard way about using too hot of a solder iron can ruin the pads on the board. :?: :noel:

yes, you are right..that happened something to me too.. well, indeed, C14 was in the point to get fucked but soldered fine finally..

fuck, problem still there..i checked everything, resoldered, idk what happens!
