So the 92-93 da ecu doesnt have a pin out the ecu to activate fan and need to know how to wire one up?
-
Two ways of course. Reuse the stock switch as a switched ground for the fan and have constant power to the fan... :noel: Or Again reuse the stock switch as a switched ground to a relay that sends power to the fan.
-
Did it come with ac?
I'll have to check my notes but I want to say you can jumper a stock diode under the dash, move a pin at the ecu, and you'll have your control wire by the passenger headlights. Mine was blue/red.

Dunno the da had a conteol box that ran the fan at temp and when the car is off. I fucked up and removed all of it. So if i do a universal relay can i triger it to work off the 94+ ecu?

Any relay rated for >10 amps should work for a stock fan. Wire the 2 switched wires on the relay to a fused +12vdc source and ground, wire one side of the coil to that +12vdc, and the other to the stock fan switch. If you're using an obd1 ecu, you can instead run the wire from the ecu fan relay output to the relay's coil.

i have the GVR4 setup to ground threw the stock switch (no factory controls). works well. but likes a 20a fuse :-\ this setup is cool, cuz it will run after the car is shut off.
CRX is wired differently. the main fan is wired stock, my second fan is grounded threw the first one i think. idk, it pisses off the stock relay sometimes. i hear it buzz. CRX also has a override that will ground the fan switch to turn on both fans. fused direct power, 7.5a.
CRX will leave 1 fan running (the aux i think) till it feels like going off also.
