Uncles. Colt Junior in 25ACP. Serial says produced in 1960.
Nice little pocket gun, but I wont be carrying it due to the safety not working AT ALL LoL!

Gunna send it in for a 25 year old firing pin recall (lol) and fix the broken safety! (currently fires with the safety on, hammer un/half/fully cocked). So not a safe gun to play around with.

Zombies will laugh at you with that. I wouldn't even keep it as a secondary pistol. Use it to finish yourself in the end when you are over ran.

Itll be a good second/car seat pistol. 9mm Beretta 9000s is what I CC. (still haven't found a replacement I like more than it)
*zombies can't laugh
*I can place shots where I want (go see the coon with the blood streaming from its left eyeball)
*25ACP ammo is small, letting you pack alot of it - perfect!
*25ACP will go bang more often than 22LR will - wish my 22LR rifle was 25ACP - itd be alot more trust-worthy!

how the fuck is a baretta better than a xd9 or an xdm9 or an xd40

.25 is a joke, even more so then 22. .25 produces like half the energy of a .22. i doubt .25 can even penetrate denim, i know from experience it goes about 10 pages into a phone book, 22 goes through 3in or so.

ergonomics
it was a love/hate model. it either fits your hand like a bullet firing condom or it doesn't fit at all. im one of the people it fits
looks amazing
mine will shoot as well as i can shoot anything that wasn't a match grade pistol - and while good im not god's gift to pistol shooting so if i did run across one that shot any better at a long long range it wouldn't matter.
big gun mag capacity is nice too. it starts as a small CCW 12+1. i can toss 15 18 & 20 round 92F mags in it. (i have two 12's & one 18. if i weren't keen on trading it when i find a pistol i like better id ebay the 18 & buy some 20's)
i like the size better. it's practically an inch shorter in height/length than an XD9 while having a wider grip that my hands can *actually* get a firm grip on. whatever accuracy it gives up going from a 4" barrel to the 3.5" on my 9000s Ill MORE than make up with the simple fact that I can get that much better of a grip on it.
ive looked at alot of XD's. they're too large & dont grip as nice so why would i sell my well shot 9000s then PAY another couple hundred bucks just to have an ugly springfield that will wind up with some combination of:
wont have the varying clip sizes
wont grip as well (for my hand)
wont conceal as easy
nothing against the XD's, but ive helt & fired a few over the past year & i wouldn't gain jack shit by getting one.
if it takes 6 rounds of 25ACP they're still dead and its better than no 25ACP at all.
TCT, semi-automatic 22LR's are notorious for FTF & FTE. 25ACP's will go bang everytime. its worth trading off to get the reliability. not trying to udnerstate it either, but a solid half of that fps difference is going to come from testing 22 ammo on a rifle and not a 2" barrel.
if it were a perfect world this would be a 5+1 380 special pocket gun
-
.25 will still punch a hole in somebody.
-
exactly. and if it takes 6 holes it takes 6 holes how many holes does herp's mom have?
-
not that anyone would care, but ive been carying this little bitch around in my pocket condition 3 all day. feels good! with the brocket safety i wont carry it chambered :( but with a round chambered it hits 14oz on my fish scale. forgot i had it most of the day lmao
-
my XD45 ACP will inflict pain.
but.
I do need a smaller gun for CC...will either be an XDM9 or 40
Oh, and stock mag on the XD45 will hold 13 + 1 rd, which is plenty to knock down a few zombies.
-
my carry pistol is 12+1 45acp 3.5" barrel ;)
-
.38 special, 5 shots, revolver. Complete reliability. I would trust a 25 to stop someone coming at me with a knife. Just my opinion, 9mm is as small as you want to go for CC
-

Yeah, I carry this since it's the only pistol I have...4" barrel...but has some weight to it.
Got one of the ball-protector holsters, conceals rather well

25 FTL. you better hope you only have to use it on a cardboard cutout.
and just a FYI, a 22lr will go through a turkey at 300yards. i will try and find the pics again, a 22lr is no joke.
edit, found it quick http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=504301&fpart=1 (http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=504301&fpart=1)

i've shot birds are way way way less of a distance than 300yards, and it killed them but did not penetrate their skin.
it depends on what 22 round you use. a regular ol' out of the brick 22lr will not do that.
