I think I saw a tv show featuring something like that. I'd love to have one of those on the last day of my life. I'd fuck some muthafucken shit up, and be more popular than Abraham Lincoln and his nappy headed wife.

-
those a euclids. they have v8 detroit deisels supercharged
-
Looks like fun... I need to fix my quad so I can go riding... :'(

those a euclids. they have v8 detroit deisels supercharged
what kind of fucking displacement
thats not SBC moving those fucking things lol
I imagine you could fit one dseries per cylinder
-
cuz i thought those fuckers were cummins no joke... someone told me that

hotrex was a bit off on his statement. bullshit coming out of his mouth really doesnt surprise me
this is from the lowest model of the mining trucks
Engine
The Cat® 3512B EUI twin turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine delivers high power and reliability in the world's most demanding mining applications.
Design
The 3512B is a 12-cylinder, four-stroke design that uses long, effective power strokes for more complete fuel combustion and optimum fuel efficiency.

Off road forklift, or a loader with forks, or a crane.

yea hi frank. maybe thats what the new trucks run for power. my supervisor used to run one of those fuckers every day for 12 yrs. the one he drove was a detroit deisel 8 cyl supercharged.
dickface. go back to japan where u at least blend ib with your wrinkled mangina
-
On a tangent. Some of the old Detroit Diesels were turbo and supercharged two strokes. Very cool stuff.
-
I dont think those cat mining trucks have even been out 12 years, unless you are referencing a totally different truck.
-
I don't know huge truck from a hole in the ground, but those look like the ones used at the Vulcan quarry I used to fuck around at in my teens. They also could pass for something new. I dunno, there's only a tiny frontal shot of one of them.
-
those all have gigantic diesel engines and always have

hotrex's fuck buddy has been drivign one for 8 years, and its only got a v8, super charged. lol.

they actually started making them(although not quite that big) back in the 50s/60s
-
Is this it?
(Traditionally powered by immense 16-cylinder engines churning out over 2000 HP)

Tricked out Komatsu

The pictures were taken at St. Clair on Reading Anthracite's property. The trucks were at a backfill area where they refill the land after mining. Here's one more picture for you guys to argue over:

And your all wrong. The trucks are made by DaeWoo and are running VW TDI motors. Every idiot knows that. :somb:
-
VW TDI, DaeWoo didnt sound queer enough on its own?
-
usually those things are diesel electric. my father worked on a couple of those in his past along with diesel electric locomotives.
-
those a euclids. they have v8 detroit deisels supercharged
any supercharged diesel detroit is also a 2 stoke. the superchager is needed and will not run without one.

The only electric part is the brakes to dissapate heat. The motors aren't series DC motors like locomotivies.

BTW, the blower they use is not to create boost, its to move air into the cylinders. The designation 8-71 means in one revolution the blower can fill 8 x 71cid cylinders with air at atmospheric pressure, 12-71=12 x 71cid cylinders, etc. The turbo was added to these to improve power and response.

dont they have an electrical generator ( diesel ) that powers a gearbox coupled to an electric motor?
Most do. its WAY more efficient.

must be the super fucking big ones. thats the best way to move something like that with the load it has.
