Do you guys add any sort of oil stabilizers or and thing in particular to help keep your engines in good shape.

I change my oil, filter, and coolant to keep my engines in good health.

Oil at 5k or 6mo, sta-bil in my small gas engines. I stored my firebird 3 yrs ago w/o anything special, and it fired up on the second crank. I'll admit I dodged the bullet on that one.

I add zinc/zddp to my trucks oil every oil change but thats about it. god damn old ass v8's

I have the local steelership change the oil on the wifes trailblazer. Because it takes something like 8qts of oil. They also wash it and vacuum it too. For $29.99 + tax. I Change my oil on my teg about every 4 months(1k miles) I drive it about 60 miles a week. So I use Rotella 15-40 on the teg. Have been using it for years. No problem with it yet.

pop vtec in the bimmer with cheap rotella t till the oil light comes on and fill it up with some more and change it when I get time. fuck off
