I'm doing everything possible to go, part of my "Get out of the house 2013" plan. I have no clue what I'm bringing. Hopefully the vitara EF behind my silverado, but I might drive the F23 crx if the funds aren't there to fuel the truck.

I used my 03 yukon this past June spent close to $500 in gas round trip, granted it did a lot better after JD tune that to :noel:

My 90 silverado has a 4 holed edelbrock 600cfm toilet. Not much can be done for mpg. It's just to get me by till I can stick a 6bt in there. My quick mpg calculation by using mapquest says I'm looking at $300 round trip. Not as bad as I thought. I figured $500 at least.

For me it depends on when & where it's located and if I get a different job this spring. If things go well I'll be doubling my pay and working a couple hours less per week. If they're flexable, it should be doable.

That sounds good with a 100-150 shot... but got to do some maintenance on the accord brakes,  timing belt/water pump, and clutch/pp/flywheel. Also want to swap in a TL trans since it has a factory lsd.

I had found the motor for $300-400, trans is still the issue finding cheap....

I passed up an Oddessy J35 at the pullapart the other day.  Those come with the S cams.  Would have been 250-275

Mine is an odyssey engine. I heard they had S heads and just needed the S intake and cams.

Ehhhh, Wes always said they had the S cams.  I could be wrong.  Also, fuck you.

It seems we are both right. So...... Fuck us?

The Type S engines have the best cams, but the secret is that the J35s feature the same heads and cams as the J32A2 Type S and swapping them over to a non-Type S J-series is entirely doable.

Put me down for attending.  If i'm not there it's probably because i'm dead.  Part of my new years resolution was to stop selling/parting my cars,  attend some events, travel a bunch...
